As I=E2=80=99m prepping parts for an engine re-assembly, hefting the =
stock cast iron housing, I realized I=E2=80=99ve seen alloy ones for =
sale.  The stock piece weighs 8 lbs with the water pump attached.  =
That=E2=80=99s a decent hunk of metal on the forward part of a =
nose-heavy GT6!  I could probably knock off 4-5 lb.

Has anyone used the alloy ones - do they seem to be dimensionally =
accurate?  Any failures?
