As I=E2=80=99m prepping parts for an engine re-assembly, hefting the stock =
cast iron housing, I realized I=E2=80=99ve seen alloy ones for sale. =C2=A0=
The stock piece weighs 8 lbs with the water pump attached. =C2=A0That=E2=80=
=99s a decent hunk of metal on the forward part of a nose-heavy GT6! =C2=A0=
I could probably knock off 4-5 lb.
Has anyone used the alloy ones - do they seem to be dimensionally accurate?=
 =C2=A0Any failures?
