. I am sure some one some where at sometime has spit a center main and that=
's probably what started the whole strap thing, don't get me wrong I am not=
poo pooing the idea just trying to shed a little light into the darkness o=
f the dreaded tractor motors.

It was corrected with the Timesert, basically a threaded insert style of t=
hread replacement. The machine shop that did it pinned in place with wedge=
s and that required a little JB Weld to keep the water in check.

enter main cap is not the problem its the center main web that's sketchy so=
