The nitriding cost (via Dennis Murray of Performance Engine Service in =
Austin, TX) turned out to be $400 (plus $72 shipping), much less than I =
expected.  Dennis said that was his cost, so perhaps going direct to =
Mile High Crankshafts in Denver might cost a bit more.  Compared to the =
cost of a forged crank that seems like a helluva deal for the Ford 1500 =
pre-crossflow race motor I=E2=80=99m building for the Morgan.
