As far as I know they were not. That's why people shorten the upper arm, which
causes as many problems as it fixes (exacerbates both camber gain and bump
steer). If I were building a race car that adhered to the 62 GCR I'd still do
the mod, but I'd make it removable as a bolt-in piece.
