I have already seen the bolt information posted, but I am curious why strap
the center main? I have heard of others doing it, but not sure what it will
help with. I run 13.6 CR, and have my rev limiter set at 7300 rpm and have
not had any unusual bearing wear. What am I missing? Joe(B)

Anyone have info on dimensions for TR-4 main cap bolts? The manual
shows 1/2" UNC but not the length. I'm trying to figure out what ARP
bolts you would buy to replace the stock bolts, and also one that's
1/2" longer to allow for "strapping" the center main. If I had the
dimensions (length) I could try to cross reference the engines that
ARP lists main cap bolts for.
Thanks in advance,
Tony Drews
