Steve
I went to a local metal distributor and bought a piece of bearing bronze. I
took it to a local machine shop and had them turn it down to the proper
size. Cost on a 20" piece of BB cost $99 and 1 hour of shop time was $65. I
may have a picture of the finished bushing around if you want to see them.
Regards
Mark

Subject: [Fot] Leaf Spring Eye Bushing
Anybody out there know of a Polyurethane or Aluminum bushing that fits
the front eye of the TR3 leaf spring? (not the rear shackle kit)
I had to take an angle grinder to the spring eye pin to get it out and
destroyed my dad's custom aluminum bushing in the process.
I'm wondering if anybody out there may know of a part number for a
modern car (or small truck) to save me a little leg-work.
I found a place that can make me a custom bushing but I'd prefer to
find something off the shelf if possible.
Dimensions: L 2.25" W 1.325 Hole: .625"
By the way the replacement Stock bushing from Moss does not fit onto
their new pin.
