This is just my opinion, but unless you are going for an SCCA National
Championship, and running 15 races a year, and are touching up the valves
after every event, and pulling the crank every other event, you won't even
notice the difference in performance between the 10w-40 and 20w-50. Go with
the extra protection and longevity and be happy. There are better ways to
shave .001 second a lap.
