Graham Davies here in Austin came up with the idea to shorten the a-arms in
this simple fashion (He had also shortened the upper a-arms for me when I
owned your car). It is the easiest way to address camber and looks pretty
stock to most everybody. I flipped the lower a-arms and got rid of the spring
spacers altogether with 550 lb Triumphtune front springs and the car was about
as low as it could get.

I don't know the answer about the TR6 trunnion or flipping the trunnions
over. The easiest was to lower a TR3 is to take material off the donuts
on top of the springs. Remember, you are dealing with a lever ratio.
If I remember correctly, if you want to lower it an inch, take about 1/2
inch off the donut. I lowered my car a little bit at a time with this
method.

There are many different ways to change the camber. I think all of them
are technically illegal in CVAR. If you shorten A arms, here is a photo
of a neat way to do it. I'll call this the Kramer method, since they
were done that way on Bob Kramer's previous car. Two short pieces of
pipe are welded in where the inside hole is off the flat.
