Let's see now... the 948cc Herald engine took 3/4" reach plugs. The
almost identical 1147cc Herald/Spitfire engine took 1/2" reach plugs.
The 1296cc Herald/Spitfire and the 1493 Spitfire engines took 3/4"
reach plugs. Confusing to say the least!
