Oh my, it could be such a long list... The special twinge I felt the first time I saw my TR4A (before it was mine). Little did I know how little I knew... Very unexpectedly hearing my name less than a year later, being called up to get an autocross trophy at the Boulder VTR a year later. The amazing stack of trophies we gathered at our table that year. :-) My first Ferrari sighting - dark blue Daytona coupe with the hood up. The way a vintage Ferrari smells. Driving our Ferrari from Houston to Palo Alto after buying it and working on it for a week to get it ready to go - about 20 years after the Daytona. Watching pretty much any race group at the Monterey Hysterics from the inside of turn 5 (being a corner worker has its perks). Discovering that the brake balance on our Land Cruiser isn't quite right for snow - the rear end comes around quite smartly! |
