Juts to add a couple of points - unlike New Zealand you are required to have at least third party insurance in the US - sit down when you ask how much it is. AFAIK by international agreements you are allowed to drive for up to a year in another country other than the one which your licence is issued in. This does help as you can't get points on your licence or get banned from driving, unfortunately it doesn't get you out of any 'on the spot fines'. John Kipping |
