Another point to consider when comparing the lap times from 30 years ago
is that the tracks have changed quite a bit since then. In most cases they
are smoother and WIDER. But for the records, the Devendorf in the
Kastner/Brophy GT-6 at Willow Springs was 1:37 and change and the TR-6 with
Carl Swanson driving at the same facility was 1:33. These times from 1972.
Mueller in the Spitfire Mk3 turned 1:40 In 1971.
