Now let's see if I have this right -- the car is 1) British, 2) old, 3)
raced, and you expect it to be leakproof?
BWAAHhaaa haaa haaa!!
>Enough so that she has been black flagged once it.
So was I once, during a practice session.
Pit steward: We meatballed you because your car was smoking.
Me: It's British.
Pit steward: You going back out?
Me: Yep.
That was the entire conversation.
:-)
My philosophy: Stop the leak if possible, but as long as the puddle is not
deep enough for small mammals to drown in, don't get overworked about it. If
it burns off on the exhaust instead of dripping on the track, all the
better. Check the levels every now and then, however.
