Hi ,
Since I am very familiar with these carbs and problems associated ,the
# 1 Reason for problems on stored cars and motorcycles with carbs is
dirty Pilot jets and that circuit of the carbs. I have also seen some
issues with the Mikunies
on some used carbs that had problems in Pilot circuits that could not be
easily fixed ,or with normal chemical dipping and cleaning . Somebody
like myself that knows how to rebuild/restore these cars should know
this info,but many I have known over the years have gone on or have
passed away without passing on this knowledge .I'm glad I can still
provide this service to my customers ....
