Don't remember the model, but Dell sold some computers with vertical CD
drives. I installed software/played music CD's without problem. Just awkward
getting 'em in/out without having 'em fall out.
I would think the same would apply to a car unit...well, except for the
speed bumps, etc.

Subject: [Roadsters] Tuner/CD player Vertical mount?
List,
Has anyone mounted a Tuner/CD player vertically in a tall windscreen
car? Do they even play cd's vertically? Don't see why not but thought I'd
inquire. Think the biggest obstacle is the depth as there ain't much in a
69.
Thought about custom building a horizontal console for one but don't mind
just twisting my head once in a while.
