[Roadsters] secret to pulling 1600 temp sensor intact?

I've been trying to get a temp sensor out intact and have managed to trash a
couple... is there a secret? or just one of those dissimilar metals reactions
and I'm screwed....not a problem getting the "sleeve" off, just removing the
brass sensor
