Folks, just as an additional note...

I believe I have found the maker of the replacement
ball joints:

I have spoken with the US Sales Rep. (Julie), however,
the US doesn't stock/sell the ball joints.
Alternately, Julie has given me the name of the
Australian contact (Darrell). I will give him a call
later today to discuss availability of the parts.
