Just got my January 2005(?) issue of Classic Motorsports. The feature
article is 'The Fabulous Fifty' classic cars. The 240Z was 6th and the 510
was 36th. And some how the roadster snuck in at 16th! Better yet the photo
they used looks like one taken at RA this past spring. Not sure but it
might be Brad Holmes'!
Believe it or not a station wagon made the list at #37. Not sure how many
of you have ever heard of a Reliant Scimitar, but it was one of the first
true "sportwagons". Another odd note from the article; the SAAB 96 is the
only car photographed upside-down. And a Singer Le Mans came in last on the
list. Not many in the states, but a few always seem to show up at the
vintage races each year.
