I was in the process of typing a detailed reply but stopped - just do what
Gordon said...

I suggest using a brass drift if you are hoping to re-use the bolts,  and
applying anti-sieze during re-assembly.  During reassemby, bolt up the
springs loosely to the axle ( good idea to use new "U" bolts as they stretch
when tightened correctly), then roll it in and tip up the fronts and insert
the bolts.  Then jack up the housing and install the rear bolts.  Square
everything up, then tighten all the bolts.
