No disagreements there, although on this car, the nuts came off easily.
Apparently the PO took them off when he did the crappy body work and paint job
to the car. Also found that he put some custom built (ie, bent some metal)
clip pins to hold the wipers on the pivots. Wonderful! I did a temporary
fix to my current pivot, as I couldn't get one of those clip pins off and it
works ok for now, but... Does anyone know where to find a new LH side wiper
pivot? Thanks!!

Those wiper pivits have got to be one of the biggest pains to work on. I
have always found them to be very hard to get apart without mangeling them.
The combination of galvonic corrosion and pot metal is very ugly.

LOL! Ok, so I was bragging I guess... I wrote earlier about not having
to use the wipers much because of using Rain-X on my windshield? I was
waxing up the blue beast yesterday and found that my wiper pivots were both
loose... so I took them apart, lubed them and started to tighten them back
up. Didn't take much and BAM! The drivers pivot lost about 1/8" of the
threads and the nut that holds it on. So now I really don't have wipers
and
it's supposed to rain tonight! :) Luckily, I have a few cars to pilfer
parts from, so will see if I can't get this fixed up... Roadsters are
fun!!
