My Dad shoulda known about that when he attempted to teach me to drive a
stick. He had a 69 396/350 Camaro with 4 speed and was trying to teach me
how to drive before I picked up my first Roadster and car in 70.
Leaving patches of rubber was not his idea of how to accelerate from a stop.
He let me learn on my own car after he saw what I was doing to his. He was
no dummy.
My Mom dropped us off to pick up the car. I didn't leave any patches but I
stalled it enough and when we got home he told me to go practice - without
him :)
Oh, did I mention the hill I got stopped on. Don't ask!!!!
Mike
