I'm using forklift pistons in a stroker and they work fine. Much increased
torque. The forklift people sell rings and bearings from companies like
clevite, and others. Why should roadster parts cost more than other engine
parts? I went with the dished pistons due to the increased compression from
a longer stroke and milled head. I also used standard 1600 carbs, with
special needles and nozzles. Possibly at a lower altitude this combination
would not work, I'm at 6000 feet .
