I have the exact same top for my 66 and it has only 2 latches in the front,
actually 2 bolts that get tightened with nuts. There should be a metal strap
on each side in the rear to connect to the softtop frame pivot point which
again is secured by nuts. My top was perfectly level when it was last
installed on my car - about 20 years ago. I was lucky enough to get
weatherstripping from the company before they went outta business.
