The *first* time I took the M/C apart, I pulled the rear piston out using a
dental pick that I was able to slide through one of the holes at the top of
the piston. The rubber mallet method didn't work and I don't have a
compressor. The *second* time I used the rubber mallet and it came out just
fine (probably due to the munged up seal I'd installed)!

> A combination of compressed air through the back brake line outlet (near
the closed end) and whacking the closed end with a hard rubber mallet, while
placing the open end on a 2X4 on the floor, worked for me. Getting the
assembly back together after replacing the seals, was also a challenge. The
seals didn't want to go back in without rolling. After several attempts, the
seals finally seated and it started pumping fluid to the rear brakes as well
as the front. Now I have to work on the rear cylinders....
