I will second that opinion - last night I cleaned up the whole engine
bay with a twisted wire cup on a grinder - remarkable, almost the same
level of control as media blasting, in that I was able to take one layer
of paint off at a time. I took off two previous colours, and stopped at
what appeared top be the original primer coat. Excellent control, and
quick, but not so fast that it was uncontrollable.
