Chris,
You may want to consider another approach - I was going to sandblast the
frame for our custom 66, but was dreading doing it. I did a bunch of
blasting when I did the work on our Z, and not only did it make a major
mess, wearing the right gear ( hood, thick gloves, coveralls, etc.) made it
an entirely upleasant experience.
I have a small cabinet for blasting samller parts like suspension, etc. but
was considering sending the frame out to have it done just to avoid the
unpleasantness.
I needed the rear portion of the frame clean to construct a fuel cell mount,
so I recently experimented with using a a grinder-mounted spiral-wound wire
brush on our frame. The results were remarkable - cleaned up the rear 1/4
of the frame in less than an hour.

The tighter areas inside corners, etc. was done with a cup brush mounted in
a drill.
