As an owner of one of each kind of car, I have always found both groups
to be very friendly and helpful. We both enjoy are cars for similar
reasons, great racing heritages, affordable performance and a strong
national and global network of people always willing to lend a helping
hand.
The schism that formed around the Mt Shasta shows was more about
organizational differences, from my knowledge, then about a dislike of a
fellow Datsun enthusiast. Unfortunately there is some rumor always
floating around that there is great animosity between the two groups.
In my experience it is only a rumor.
You might be surprised at how many Roadster guys have a 510 lurking in
there garages and vice a versa.

I guess you have not heard the TRUE story behind the Mt Shasta All
Datsun Meet (unless you are a Roadster driver and decide to have your
own show) story. Rumor has it that the Dimes are not the ones with the
noses in the air at get togethers.
