Like Mark, I am also doing a V6 custom Roadster. I started with a 67.5 and
putting in a 3.8 turbo Buick with T5. I will redo the front suspension with
a rack and pinion unit and 4 link a GM or Ford rear end. It will be painted
black with red interior. The black paint will have "ghost" strips and "67c"
racing numbers on the side. The only thing Datsun on this car will be the
body and frame. Autometer gages, painless wiring, custom seats, ....etc..
I have just started - Ok, I have been working on it for a while, but
progress is just starting to take form. I have some pictures at

My only mistake to date (more to follow I am sure) was buying a T5 from a V6
Firebird, so the 1st gear has a 4.00 ratio. I really need a V8 T5 with a
taller 1st. With the turbo V6 I hope to get 300 HP. The turbo unit came
from a '78 GN, so it is a carbed version. I will use a Holley 650 with
machinical secondaries.
I would love to compare notes with you. And Mark, how is your project
coming??
