Sean,

Welcome to the list.

Some of the folks here are resto-purists, some are customizers, and
discussions range from carburetors to cookies....but all enjoy their cars.
It has been a wealth of information.

I'm building a custom 66 1600 - PO had begun an install of a Chevy V6, but
it was a badly botched job. I bought it because I already finished a 350
cu.in.SBC 280Z a few years ago, and I thought I could resurrect the
Roadster. The Z is built as a road car - high revving motor rear-set,
lowered, real stiff chassis with lots of handling goodies, T-5 tranny, etc.-
and I intend to do the same with the Roadster.

I see someone else already gave a link to the vendor's sites listed on
Gordon's page, and they have lots of NOS and repop.

I'll pass along that for the long door weatherstrip, window tracks, and
trunk weatherseal, very usable replacements can be found cheaply in JC
Whitney - not "correct" mind you, but work as well as original. Don't
recall which p/n's, but I just matched a profile that was close to the orig.

Can't wait to see your pictures.
