Yes, I did do it myself. I used, if I can remember right, Duplicolor. I
brushed it it with a paint brush and roller. It didn't come out as thick as
the pro shops do, but I think you may have better luck if you spray it in.
There are a few differnt brands of DIY coating. I chose mine because of price
and I hadn't talked to anyone else who had done it. Not sure if I would use
Duplicolor if I did it again. I might give another, more expensive product a
try. But it was for the wagon, so what the heck. I don't think it is a bad
product, I just think there may be better out there.
As for the question if dynamat gives the doors a 'thud,' yes it does and I love
it.
