Someone on the list picked up a bench grinder for $30 for just such a
thing.
I'm using an old washing machine motor. The speed is perfect for plastic
(lovely lenses), but not enough for stainless or aluminum. I got a kit
of wheels, rouges, etc from Eastwood that is fairly complete, it even has
an instructional video that is.....instructional anyway..... Just did
the copper bottoms on a couple pieces of Revere-Ware, ant they look
great! Ought to work on the valv covers and carbies too!
