Yup, got one sitting in my backyard... width is about 57" total, +-1/4" (used
an old measuring tape). Thing is, you will want the '84/85 GSL-SE rear end
ONLY. Those were the only RX7 rears that came with the correct 4x114.3mm bolt
pattern, and their axle shafts were thicker than the splined sections,
allowing you to shorten them w/o any probs. The rest of the first-gen RX7
rear ends had smaller diameter axles. The vented rear disk brakes on that
particular rear is a nice added bonus.. :)
