Mark,
Unless you are going to put LOTS of power through it, the 9 inch Ford is
overkill. You can easily get by with a Ford 8 inch. The biggest problem is
going to be bolt patterns. The Mazda has the right pattern and it is a bit
stronger than stock. I'm sure that there are others, but I have not
researched it.
By the way, has anyone got the dimensions for a Mazda rear end (from wheel
mounting pad to wheel mounting pad?)
