I'm familiar with modern-day cars and their 'use once and replace'
design. But I don't think our 35 year old cars use disposable head bolts,
do they? I've reused my head bolts - am I incorrect? (Of course, I check
each bolt and yes sometimes I do find one that's stretched from
over-torqueing. But that's a rarity).
