Choke

Hi All:
I got the chance to look over my 2000 engine today and was looking for
the choke cable. It's not on the car! The po must have figured that we
don't need choke's in Wisconsin. I assume that the choke knob should be
located below the headlight knob on the dash. There's a small black push
button installed at that location. What's up with that? Anyway, does
everyone agree that a 2000 with cam, solex and header should have a
choke?
