I've had decent luck
just replacing the lower bushing (a $11.95 dealer part some years ago)
Take the new bushing along with your parts to a decent machine shop, and
they'll replace the bushing and ream it to fit tightly against your
shaft. Er, ahem. YEs.
WHY Nissan used THREADS for the top bushing is beyond comprehension,
but they did. However, there can be a bit of play in the upper bushing,
and it won't allow much arm movement. Try the lower one first, and if
it's still sloppy, Ross had new threaded bushings made some years ago...
perhaps he still has some?
