Check out the Feb/Mar1999 issue of Sports Car International magazine. The
cover has the Honda S2000 on it. Every feature I'd like to see on the
Nissan Z is on the Honda, mostly the aggressive styling with the slanted
teardrop headight covers and the inward curving lines. The new Z is ugly,
boring and uninspiring.
Then check out the Skyline article on page 62, same magazine issue. The
Skyline 25GT Turbo is gorgeous, aggressive and a taste of what the new Z
ought to be like, right down to the 280-horse turbo six. The only mention
made of this Skyline coming to the USA is in an Infiniti package. Nissan is
shooting itself in the foot! Will someone tell them that Americans want
more than cheap jelly bean or pricy luxury cars!
