Dear All,

Read the message from Joanne or Jim? about the Humber Sprite?.

Like Ray, I have never heard of a Humber Sprite, and strongly
suggest that the car is in fact a SNIPE or a SUPER SNIPE.

Either way it is a "upper echelon" limo, by British standards.

A SNIPE is a bird which is hunted (similarly to Pheasant/Partridge/
Quail etc..).
The HUMBERs were used for toting the guns out, and the bag back.

That lets you know that it was not the average everyday driver for
ordinary guys!.

Very nice cars, a bit stodgy to drive, but with leather and walnut
finish, partcularly pleasing.

I agree with Ray, someone should save it - maybe even use it as a
hire car for weddings?

The Pullman/Imperial etc were used by the RAF officers in WWII.

Good luck,

Arthur down under.
