Not an MG

Just after I helped friends make one MGA out of two wrecks, back in 1968, 
my mom told me that she knew someone with a car for sale.  She said it 
was a red volkswagon bug.  I went and looked anyway.  It was a red TR-3.
I was in heaven. Of course, discovery of rotted floors and wornout front 
end and cabs came later.  NO REGRETS!
