After the Chicago British Car Fest I followed a Morris Minor into a gas statio
n.
It hadthe License plate "Scary 1" or something like that. It had a Chevy V8,
fuel cell, roll cage and a very nice exhaust note.
Saw a newer Lotus (one with a name that starts with E, I believe) with a 215
at the Chicago show.
A friend had a MB 190SL with a 215.
Another friend put a 215 into a 914 Porsche, got the adapter from
Kennedy Eng. Products.
The book Specialist Sports Cars by Peter Filby has a picture of
a 215 engined Lotus 47, stretched by 3".
Now, if i hadn't gotten rid of my 1961 Vauxhall Victor Deluxe Estate,
I would have a prime candidate!
