>From AutoWeek, May 17 1993:
R.I.P Jensen
"Jensen, the tiny British sports car maker, has folded. The
company has struggled for some time and recently hopes were raised
by rumors the firm might build the IAD-designed Magia coupe."
"Jensen is best remembered for the big Chrysler V8-powered
Interceptor coupe and the FF derivative of that car which
introduced four-wheel-drive and ABS to the market in 1967, a full
15 years before Audi managed the same trick with the original Quattro."
For those interested in getting a Jensen Interceptor, I recently saw one
for sale at San Jose British Motors, 404 Stevens Creek Bl, (408) 246-7600.
It was parked somewhere between a V12 E-type and a Texas made Jaguar
Sovereign Stretch Limo.
