On my way to work this morning I spied a blue Spitefire for sale in a
parking lot. I cannot tell you much about it since I did not stop to
look at it and I do not know much about Spitefires, but here is what I
did see:
- rubber bumper overriders
- 1500 engine (has slanted Spitefire 1500 decal on the hood)
- bright blue (Royal?).
- colormatched hardtop
- body and paint look to be in good shape from driving by, but
a sixth sense tells me it has been repainted
- $750, I think (the sign was hard to read)
It is located in Corvallis, Oregon which is about 80 miles south of
Portland. If anyone is interested I could stop and take a better look
at it.
