Subject: new TR8 interest book
Just came back from my local bookstore. What did I find? A neat
book called The Rover V8 Engine. It's put out by the people
that do the Haynes manuals. The book has lots of history,
photos of everything the V8 was put into (including of course
the TR7 V8 and TR8) AND an up to date list of who (in England)
is currently doing TR7 -> 8 conversions, who sells competition
cams, and other neat stuff like that.

It's definitely a Haynes book. The number is F692. Hardcover cost me
a little over $30 at Bookstop. Could you do me a favor? Why don't
you post the above info to the brit car list for me? There may be
some converted Stags, MGBV8, TVR's, Range Rover, etc fans who would
also be interested in this book. I've skimmed it cover to cover. It
seems to be well written and the pictures are great. Moreover, it's got
CURRENT info which is neat. Worth the $30.
Happy motoring!
