I'm starting on the body work, and trying to get the door painted the
"ginger" color and the door hinges.
In the past I've always used lacquer primer, and mostly shot lacquer.
However, when I did my Morgan I use acrylic enamel for the top coat.
I'm just wondering what everyone is using these days? I have some lacquer
primer and some ginger in the acrylic enamel.
Talking with Terry, he is really talking the Urothaine (sp) primers and
single stage urothaine top paints.
I'm probably going to go with the H2O sealer then I think I might try
the urothane primer and top coat. But right now, I'm mostly worried
about getting the hinges and door done.
So what is everyone using? I usually shoot out side with a cartridge mask.
I've been worried about the isocynates and the hardners though since I don't
have a hood with an external air supply.
