To John Blair and any one else
The red wire from the pos. side of the battery goes thru a magnetic
circuit breaker (silver box) amperage I don't know to a 12 guage wire in
the control panel which seperates into 3 12 ga. wires with round
connectors that went to the 3 solenoids on the hydraulic system.
A 12 ga. wire splices back before the 3 wires into a orange fusible
link about 5 " long and this ties into a red wire approx. 14 ga that
goes to the console lock/unlock switch. ( I found out in the original
small owners book that there are 4 fusible links in the car).
The other side of the interior lock switch is a pink wire and this
feeds to the exterior keyed door lock and on the other side is a beige
wire.
I was told I could replace the fusible link with a 35 or 40 amp. fuse (
why that rating I didn't ask.) - but the door solenoids might have
something to do with this. --This was from Terry T shop.
I was told to get a really big battery so I got a sears diehard gold
with top and side posts 875 cga rating and then I hooked the cable to
the negative side post and bought another cable and attached it to the
red original cable and hooked it to the top post and now have a great
disconnect switch.
I also kept my air tank independant of my bumper by mig welding a 3" by
6" by 1/8" plate with 4 holes on each side to the air tank and it is
then sandwiched between the bumper and the car mounting plates.
Terry t shop told me that the air compressors cut out at around 130 #
and cut in at at around 110#
CAN some one tell me how to reduce the pressure in the control panel to
zero. I take the center knob ,pull it out and then turn it which way ??
