 Sounds like something worth exploring,but if you are going to be pushing
that heavy door from way down there,I surely would reinforce the upper part
of the door at the doglegs. That is going to be a lot of stress at those
points, front and rear. The second question is, will you be able to get the
correct angles to push the door up and lower it from that one pivot point?
How long will the cylinder have to be and where are you going to mount the
lower pivot of the cylinders? Aren't you actually pushing out on the door
rather than up? I don't know, just somethings to consider.
