Or what, I think. Some folks on the list say their '74's are faster.
I've never even seen a '74 in the flesh so I can't say. The road
tests/stats I have indicate they're pretty even with the '75 having
more top end. I think tuning has a lot to do with it. The '75 road
test lists top speed as 118, but I got stopped  outside Decatur,
Ala. for alledgely going 138.


[Phil Martin]  How did it feel at that speed?  Had it been modded at all? 
 My goal for at least one of my project cars is to drive it to Bonneville 
and run at least 150 with no gear changes or other "track-only" setups. 
 I've heard that the Brick has a negative coefficient of lift - is that 
true?  I've also heard that the front suspension geometry was designed for 
on-centre stability - sounds like the right combo for a top-end machine...
