He raced me N.E. of a small town about 25mi. N.E. of Atlanta in the
spring of '82. I don't remember his name, but he was from New York.
The car was painted white with blue racing stripes. He claimed I
beat him because the car had very tall gearing since it had been
originally set up to run at LeMans. Probably so much BS, like the
windshield story. Even so, it was pretty fast, but no match for the
L88 I was driving.
