I don't see how it could change the CG, but they definitely change roll
steer. This causes, in effect, four wheel steering under certain conditions.
In my case (and some others according to Terry Tanner) the springs were in a
bind from the axle housing to the front frame mount. I think rear frame flex
has some minor effect also.
